Smothered French Fries

In this appetizer recipe, fries are smothered in a creamy garlic-ranch sauce and then topped with blue cheese, bacon and green onions. Beyond yum.



Smothered French Fries


  • 1 lb . ORE-IDA GOLDEN FRIES 1/2 of 32-oz. pkg.
  • 1/4 cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream
  • 1/4 cup KRAFT Classic Ranch Dressing
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup ATHENOS Crumbled Blue Cheese
  • 4 slices OSCAR MAYER Center Cut Bacon cooked, crumbled
  • 2 green onions sliced


  1. Bake french fries as directed on package.
  2. Meanwhile, mix sour cream, dressing and garlic until blended.
  3. Place french fries on platter; top with sour cream mixture, cheese, bacon and onions.
